Watching famed American artist Spencer Tunick photograph naked people painted from head to toe in red and gold in Munich certainly challenged one's view of nudity and privacy. He was invited by the Bavarian State Opera to open the 2012 Munich Opera Festival with his interpretation of Richard Wagner opera "Der Ring des Nibelungen. The art installation entitled "The Ring" brought 1,700 volunteers together to pose nude at several venues in downtown Munich.
