NEXT LEVEL POLE DANCING
Up until fairly recently, my understanding of pole dancing was limited to bored looking strippers doing an occasional upside down spin, while showing me their tits or myriad youtube videos of party girls totally wiping out while trying to do something on a pole.
Amusing but, nothing really impressive…
Let me introduce you to the Pulse Project…this is some amazing, artistic, next level stuff. It’s a rare occasion where my mind changes and I actually feel something. This did it. It really completely changed how I see pole dancing – it’s not a sexual thing any longer but, closer to traditional (read socially accepted) dance. Using the pole dancing as a foundation, they take elements of Capoeira, Ballet, Parkour and create something completely new, and stunning.

They’re putting on an underground performance of this next week in Brooklyn – it’s something definitely worth seeing live – it will change the way you look at pole dancing.
